3M yellow pads are possibly the industry’s most versatile pad, in my opinion anyway; not only will it cut with the right type of compound, it’ll also refine with ease. For most enhancement details this is my number one pad used in conjunction with Megs #205 polish. As with most 3M products the quality of the pads is top notch; bouncing back from multiple washes without any distortion and still provide a descent level of mechanical cut.

The pad is made from a long lasting waffle foam. The polishes and compounds are colour coded with the polishing pads to ease product selection:
