How do I get points?

Points are automatically achieved for the total pound (£) costs of products that you buy. This is the cost of the product only and excluding taxes e.g. VAT. For example, if you buy a product for 15.59 Ex VAT, you will receive 15 loyalty points.

The loyalty points are assigned on a per line basis of the shopping cart. Therefore, if the first line in the shopping carts line total (Ex Vat) is £15.59 you will get awarded 15 points. If the second lines total for products (Ex Vat) is £14.59 you get awarded 14 points. The total points for the order are thus 29 loyalty points. It would not be the carts total (Ex Vat) of £30.18 equating to 30 points.

What discount do the loyalty points provide?

You can redeem your points when checking out. Each point earned equates to 4p (£0.04). For example, redeeming 10 loyalty points at checkout will offer a £0.40 (40p) discount to your order. This loyalty point discount can be used in conjunction with promotion discount codes, but it takes affect after the discount code reduction has been applied.

How do I join?

Subscription is free and open to all registered customers on Detailed Clean.

How can I view how many points I have?

Simply log into your Account and on the account landing page a summary of your available points total is shown.

I have a discount code, can I use this and my loyalty points that I have?

Yes sure, the discount code will be applied first followed by the redeemed loyalty points. If you are looking for a Detailed Clean discount code then Like Us on facebook to get a discount code (clicking the 'DC Discount' link after liking us).

When a discount (discount code and/or loyalty points redeemed) are applied to an order, the new loyalty points to be earned are reduced by that amount. For example, if you are to earn 20 loyalty points for your current order (without any discounts applied), but then apply a discount to the value of £5.00, the loyalty points you will earn on this order will be reduced to 15 (20-5).

What if I cancel my order?

Then we simply remove the associated loyalty points that you would have achieved had the order not been cancelled.

Can I read the legal small print?

Sure, the terms and conditions follow:

  • Subscription to the Detailed Clean 'Loyalty Scheme' (hereafter referred to as the Loyalty Scheme or Loyalty Points) is open to all customers who purchase directly from Detailed Clean (www.DetailedClean.co.uk) and who meet the entry requirements as set out in the following clauses.
  • Subscription is not open to trade accounts including wholesalers, resellers and shops.
  • Professional Detailers & Valeters are eligible for the Loyalty Scheme provided products are bought for business use and not resale.
  • Subscribers to the Loyalty Scheme are under no obligation to purchase goods from Detailed Clean.
  • Your Detailed Clean loyalty points can only be used on Detailed Clean and no cash alternative is available.
  • It is Detailed Clean's intention to run the Loyalty Scheme for the foreseeable future. However, Detailed Clean reserves the right to suspend, postpone or cease operation of the Loyalty Scheme at any time. In the event of such suspension, postponement or cessation, no compensation or recompense whatsoever will be due to Subscribers to the Loyalty Scheme.
  • Currently, one loyalty point is given for each whole pound (£) spent (this is the cost of product you purchased excluding taxes (VAT) from Detailed Clean). These points are assigned on a per line basis of the shopping cart and not on the shopping carts total.
  • One (1) loyalty point equates to a £0.04 (4p) discount when checking out. Detailed Clean reserves the right to make amendments to the way points are awarded or to the amount of discount each individual point equates too. In this event no compensation or recompense whatsoever will be due to Subscribers to the Loyalty Scheme.
  • The Loyalty Scheme is personal to you and cannot be transferred.
  • If an order is not completed or cancelled, Detailed Clean reserve the right to take away any loyalty points you might have received.
  • We can take any action we consider appropriate including suspension of individual subscriptions, if we have reason to believe that you are abusing the Loyalty Scheme or not adhering to the terms and conditions.
  • The Loyalty Scheme applies to all products and all orders, excluding any applicable delivery charges and taxes.
  • If the cash converted value of loyalty points used on an order is more then the actual cost the order would have been without using loyalty points (hence the cart total shows as a negative) it does not mean you are due money back from Detailed Clean or any other type of credit or refund.
