This is my second BH clay, after buying a fine grade one for another car.
I've used this clay to remove paint dust that car was covered with from body shop. Beyond expectations.
Being able to use regular water as a lubricant adds to versatility.

After using a well known brand of clay bar for 2 years I tried Bilt Bamber after reading reviews on here. Will not be buying another make of clay bar again! Says it works with water but I still use a QD or clay bar lube and the results are perfect. Removes more contaminants in less time. Perfect.
Can't quite work out why anyone would buy a similar product from another very well known name in the cleaning/detailing business when you can buy this (equally good) product for a fraction of the price. Additionally, you don't have to use expensive lubricants.....just water out of the tap. What's not to like?
Best clay bar you can buy!
Never used a clay bar before and was my first attempt. My car had never been clayed before so I had to use a large piece of clay to do the entire car. still enough left to the same 4 times over. My car came up fantastic with silky smooth panels ready for finishing.
Having not used a clay bar before, I was surprised how simple the whole process was. I cut the bar in 4 and only used one piece for the whole car. I had a bowl of warm water to make using the bar easier. I just then sprayed the car with water and rubbed across the paint. You could see and feel the end results.
Having not used a clay bar before, I was very impressed with the difference this made to my car's finish. It removed all the stubborn grime and imperfections.
This is a great quality clay bar for the money. The best part is that you don't need to use any special detailing fluid - you can just use plain water as the lubricant!
I cut the clay bar into 4 pieces and each piece is probably good for 1 car.

Works slick with water , easy to mold and fold.
Typically hose pipe water is cold, which can stop the clay from working properly, i would recommend using a watering can / sprayer, containing hot water, or have a little tub of warm water to drop the clay in now and again to keep it at its softest.
Fantastic clay, its my choice every time !
excellent clay for their money
Having used this clay for a while, it was a no brainer to add it to my cart. High grade clay, combined with the ability to use water as lube, this is a pleasure to use and leaves the surface completely smooth and free of surface contaminants. I use this on paintwork, plastics and glass, with stunning results. If you need an extra bite to your cleaning, using some APC or shampoo as a lube cleans the paintwork as you clay.
I would recommend this product to anyone wanting fantastic clay, at a very good price.
This was the first time that I had ever used a clay to clean contaminants off my car. It was really easy and left a lovely smooth finish ready for waxing. I would definitely recommend it.
This clay is a doddle to use and effortlesly gets rid of all surface contaminants. My car was silky smooth afterwards and when i polished it the shine was even more impresive. I would certainly recommend this product to anybody who takes care and pride in their car and likes it to look good.

Auto-clay regular is ideally suited to cars not previously clayed, those which are heavily contaminated or for the removal of overspray. Auto-clay removes contaminated particles effortlessly from clean paint surfaces leaving a glass smooth ultra clean finish perfectly prepared for the application of waxes and other final stage products. Use as like any other clay bar: Spray either water or a quick detailer on the area you are going to work on and then rub Auto clay across the lubricated area several times. Rub the autoclay side to side if you feel the clay stick re-lubricate the area.
As always if you drop autoclay do not re-use it but throw it away. Instructions from Bilt Hamber: Competing clays require the use of special lubricants. Bilt-Hamber Laboratories auto-clay differs as its formulation enables normal tap water to provide the necessary lubrication.
Some clay bars contain surfactants such as powdered detergents or soaps. Long-term use of surfactants can have adverse effects on paint systems - auto-clay contains no surfactants detergents soaps or other soluble materials. Before using auto-clay thoroughly wash your car to remove any loose dirt. Direct sunlight should not fall on your car’s surface, and it’s best if the work area is relatively cool, but not cold. Rinse new clay bars in water.
Regular grade clay can be softened in warm water for use in colder weather While some users prefer to use the whole bar, it’s satisfactory to cut the bar into four pieces. To use the clay bar spray water with a plant mister on a small area of your car and rub the bar back and forth with light pressure.
Auto-clay should glide across your paint keep the paint surface wetted thoroughly. Auto-clay must not be used dry. Listen carefully - at first you will hear the bar as it pulls the particles away from the paint, the noise and friction will disappear quickly. After a few passes with the ClayBar, rub your fingers over the area to feel if the surface contamination was removed. Keep rubbing until all contamination is gone.
Finally, wipe the clay residue off with a soft terrycloth towel, Just like waxing, work in small areas What you will see coming off of the car and depositing itself on the clay bar is a reddish brownish residue, this is what you want to see. As the clay bar becomes soiled, simply fold it over squash it out and keep going. Under no circumstances should the clay bar be used if dropped on the ground, inside or out!
The clay bar that comes in this pack is good for about 4 or 5 cleans on the average sized car. Once the paint is clean wax immediately.
